Friends and Family Experience - Namib Race (Namibia)

Your family/friends will have the opportunity to spend the last night at Camp 6, experiencing the campfire and sharing dinner and breakfast with you, and either joining you in the last stage and crossing the finish line with you, or meeting you at the finish line. This will allow them to get a real sense of what it feels like to take part in this race you have been working so hard towards.

Included in this fee your family / friends will receive:

• Two nights at a hotel in Swakopmund
• Transport to and from Camp 6.
• 2 x Expedition Foods meals (dinner & breakfast)
• Hot water and drinking water at Camp 6
• Overnight at Camp 6 in tented accommodation.
• Ticket to the Awards Banquet.

SCHEDULE

Day 1 – Thursday, 20 August 2026

• Arrive in Swakopmund and stay overnight at the designated hotel.

Day 2 – Friday, 21 August 2026

• Leave at approximately 2pm for Camp 6
• Arrive Camp 6, meet your friends, explore the camp.
• Enjoy your first Expedition Foods meal with your friend / family member.
• Overnight in Camp 6 in the friends / family tents

Day 3 – Saturday, 22 August 2026

• Expedition Foods breakfast with your friend / family member.
• May participate in the last stage (approx. 10km) and cross the finish line with your loved one or travel to the finish line to meet your friend / family cross the finish line.
• Enjoy finish line festivities with your friend / family member.
• Walk or take the shuttle the short distance to your hotel
• Awards Banquet in Swakopmund
• Overnight at the designated hotel, sharing a room with your friend / family.
