Friends and Family Experience - Gobi March (Mongolia)

Your family/friends will have the opportunity to spend the last night at Camp 6, experiencing the camp fire and sharing dinner and breakfast with you, and either joining you in the last stage and crossing the finish line with you, or meeting you at the finish line in the ancient city of Karakorum. This will allow them to get a real sense of what it feels like to take part in this race you have been working so hard towards.

Included in this fee your family / friends will receive:

Two nights at a hotel in Ulaanbaatar.
Transport to and from Camp 6.
Meal stop along the way to Camp 6.
2 x Expedition Foods meals (dinner & breakfast).
Overnight at Camp 6 in tented accommodation.
Hot water at Camp 6.
Drinking water during the three days.
Ticket to the Awards Banquet.

SCHEDULE

Day 1 – Thur, 24 June

Arrive in Ulaanbaatar and stay overnight at the Ramada Ulaanbaatar Citycenter Hotel.

Day 2 – Fri, 25 June

Leave at approximately 8am for Camp 6. Stop for lunch.
Arrive Camp 6 around 3pm. Enjoy your first Expedition Foods meal with your friend / family member.
Overnight in Camp 6 in the friends / family tents.

Day 3 – Sat, 26 June

Expedition Meal Breakfast with your friend / family member.
May participate in the last stage (approx. 10km) and cross the finish line with your loved one or travel to the finish line to meet your friend / family cross the finish line.
Enjoy finish line festivities with your friend / family member.
Ride in the bus back to Ulaanbaatar with your friend / family.
Awards Banquet at the Ramada Ulaanbaatar Citycenter Hotel.
Overnight at the Ramada Ulaanbaatar Citycenter Hotel, sharing a room with your friend / family.
